These works, the print and video, grew out of the processes used to create my Dances series found here. Instead of working with a single event like the Dances series, I wanted to experiment with a much larger set of photographs. I decided on stacking every photo I had taken and edited in my time as a student at Davidson College, around 1300 photos. The end result was the print. The video, on the other hand, stemmed from the opposing ideas I had been working with. I had managed to create the end result of the journey, the composite image of my time at Davidson, but I wanted to see what the journey looked like so I clipped every progressive composite image and stitched them together in a time-lapse video. This video showed at the Davidson College Alenda Lux Symposium in May 2018.
